Matthew received an Antworks Ant Farm for birthday. It’s essentially an updated version of the old-fashioned ant farm that I knew as a kid. Mine was never illuminated by LEDs and a contained space age gel. The gel is a food and water medium for the ants, developed by NASA to study insects in space. In any case, last Monday we received the ants we ordered in the mail, placed them into their new habitat. After the first day, the ants had burrowed down to floor. Then in less than a week since placing the ants in the habitat, they have created a system of tunnels and chambers that have 4 ground entrances and a mound with several tunnels on the surface. I think I have spent just as much time ant-gazing as Matthew has. It is so neat to watch these ants work. It’s very interesting to watch the ants at work. Each ant seems to take on a different role and although they work together on the tunnels when they bring the bits of gel to the top they do different things with it. Some choose to bury it as food, others build a wall up the side.

C’mon… Did you really think Audrey was working with the terrorists?
In truth, I am not 100% convinced of her innocence… maybe 95%. Don’t forget about Nina Meyers. Nina was discovered to be the mole halfway through Season I only to get off the hook at the very end.
However, the ultimate question still stands - Who does Henderson report to? This entire day seems to have been orchestrated by Henderson from start. All in a desire to exact revenge on Jack for ruining his CTU career. So far, Henderson has tried to frame Jack for Palmer’s assassination. He has targeted and killed Jack’s friends. And set Audrey up as a scapegoat.
It’s Henderson vs. Jack with the future freedom of the United States hanging in the balance.
Ok, so they didn’t kill off Lincoln. I should have known there was going to be some sort of last minuet reprieve. Anyways…
In my opinion, these past two episodes, especially last week’s, have been the best episodes to date. Probably because they focus in more on the characters, the character development in these two episodes has really added some depth. I care a lot more for Lincoln now, than I did before the hiatus. Before the hiatus I was more interested in the tattoo and Michael’s amazing ability to do everything. But, after the last two episodes I’m really rooting for these guys now, not just how elaborate the escape plan can be. Although, that still keeps me on the edge of my seat.
But the conversation between C-Note and Westmoreland made me think. Would these guys really head to their families once they broke out? I mean, they have to know full well the authorities would likely be waiting for them there. You would have to have one hell of a plan once you broke out. And as far as I can tell, only Michael and maybe Westmoreland have some sort of plan once they get out.
At least we’ll have the chance to find out. According to E! Online, Fox has decided that it takes longer than one season to bust out of prison. And from the sounds of it, the second season will revolve around the escaped convicts trying to evade recapture. I can’t wait.
Last night we attended the Chicago Wolves‘ annual Skates Mates Kids Club party at the Allstate Arena. It was a pretty neat opportunity to meet and greet all the players. Matthew managed to get quite a few autographs, but fell just short of get evryone on the team by the time they closed the lines down. We also got a tour of the Wolves’ locker room and had our pictures taken on the zamboni. Click HERE to view and/or download more photos at Flickr.
After finally catching up with The Amazing Race from last Tuesday night, I have to say I’m not all that sad to see Wanda and Desiree go. While I think Desiree was a good race candidate, Wanda was really starting to get on my nerves. If you are going to be on a show like The Amazing Race, whining at every task isn’t going to help you win.
My pick for next team to go is Dani and Danielle. They’re followers, not leaders. In fact, I don’t know who’s dumber, the people who take the wrong turn twice or Dani and Danielle who follow them both times? When teams do stupid things like not reading a map, or just blindly following people, it makes me crazy…
Comcast needs to concentrate on actually providing the speeds they currently claim to offer. Then they can worry about competing with FIOS. I’ve never gotten better than the 3Mbps from them on a line that they claim to be 6Mbps.
I’m not saying that 3Mbps isn’t a good speed, but when I’m pay as much as I am for cable internet, isn’t it reasonable for me to expect to get it? Instead of them offering higher speeds, I’d rather see them become more competitive with their prices. Similar to what AT&T is now offering for their DSL service. But, I’m guessing they think that if they’re so much faster than most everyone else, who’s going to complain?
As far as twists go, am I to believe the one that was thrown out there this week? Audrey… One of the bad guys? In some way, I could see it happening. In another way, it would make the perfect setup to use against Jack, who would think nothing of torturing her to get the information he needed. As much as I think she’d make a good scapegoat, I’m more likely to give her the benefit of the doubt. How about you?
With this show, who knows? It wouldn’t be the first time some that Jack was involved with betrayed him.
It’s been quite some time since the last episode of Prison Break, and here we are, right where we left off. This show is just one cliffhanger after another.
As for Lincoln’s execution, I’m not so sure Lincoln escapes the chair. If you watch and the previews carefully, you don’t see Lincoln and they seem to be talking about clearing his name. Maybe it’s just careful editing. Maybe they just want you to think the execution went through, maybe it did. With all that said, I think he’s dead.
All new episodes of Prison Break start tonight at 7:00 PM on Fox, right before new episodes of 24. Prison Break is one of the best new shows this season, and if you haven’t seen it yet you can still catch up by watching the marathon on FX.
Tonight is guaranteed to be the best night of television ever!
Chris Pearson has come up an intersting experiment in viral linking, called the The Indie Virus. The idea behind the experimaent is to examine the spreading of ideas among lesser known blogs (and if there was ever a lesser known blog, it would be this one.) I haven’t exactly figured out what he’s up to, but it sounds interesting enough.
If your I’ll interested in reading how this idea all came about, checkout the comments on this post over at Copyblogger.
