Boy, 17, contracts West Nile via Chicago Tribune
Following confirmation of West Nile virus in a 17-year-old Plainfield boy, the Will County Health Department has issued a warning that young people are susceptible to the disease too.
Wow, this could practically happen in my own backyard. I really shouldn’t be ignoring the risks posed by West Nile virus. I guess it’s time to break out the bug spray.
