This past Tuesday night, while helping celebrate Jammer’s birthday at a Joliet Jackhammers game, we happened to meet the parents of Josh Regits, a pitcher who was just recently signed by the Jackhammers. They were sitting directly behind us, and after striking up a conversation with them, they were kind enough to introduce us to Josh after the game so that Matthew could get his autograph.
Even though, Matthew had already collected various players’ autographs earlier that day at the Jackhammer’s Kids Club baseball clinic. I thought it was a very kind gesture.
