Circus Music

We recently added a forth person to our car pool. Now, whenever I’m crammed into the back seat of a less than roomy car… I can’t help but imagine circus music playing in my head every time I get out of the car.

Static Electricity Eliminator

shock-preventerWhile reading various blogs today, I happened to stumbled across this Static Electricity Eliminator via ThinkGeek. Which in it’s self is nothing special, but I just couldn’t help but laugh to myself because all day long I’ve been listening to one of my co-workers complain about being shocked.

Old

How did I get to be so OLD?  I just caught myself using the phrase “When I was your age…”

The Dark Knight

Thanks to my love of the first movie, Batman Begins, it’s already a given that I will planing to see the sequel this summer. So all the viral marketing sites for a fictional Gotham Times newspaper, Gotham National Bank, Gotham Police department, and even a grassroots organization trying to make Gotham safer aren’t really necessary to convince me to see The Dark Knight. But none the less, I love how Warner Bros. is building all of these online sites. It makes the waiting to see the movie a little more fun.

I Feel Violated

O.K., I don’t feel so much as violated as I do unlucky.  Why do I fell unlucky?  Well, sometime in the middle of the night someone broke into both of our cars.  Yes, before anyone asks our door were unlocked.  Should we have known better?  The answer to that is yes too. Technically, I don’t know if “broke into” is the correct term, but none the less…

Luckily, neither of our cars were stolen or damaged.  However some JACKASS did make off with the detachable face and remote to my car stereo, rendering it completely useless. I tell you that’s just a mean thing to do. Also, the same jackass or group of jackasses (who really knows) took off with the I-Pass that was in Beth’s car.  All in all, it could have been worse… at least I didn’t have to go through what my Dad went through when his car was stolen.  So, I canceled the I-Pass and Beth filed a report with the police.  Surprisingly enough the police even sent out a technician to dust for prints.  They were not able to find any, but we did learn that this isn’t the first instance of this problem.  Live and learn I guess.

Oh well, maybe we’ll make the local police blotter.

Slow Blogging Day

Ever had one of those days when the Internet seems so boring? Well, today is one of those days for me. Maybe it has something to do with my turkey overdose from yesterday.  Now don’t get me wrong… I still managed to find a few silly links to share with everyone. You should be able to find them just before this post.
